Mayank graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2004 and is a European Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine. After early experience in first‑opinion practice, he completed an internship at the Animal Health Trust before undertaking specialist training in the United States, including a fellowship in haematology and transfusion medicine and a residency at the University of Pennsylvania.
Returning to the UK in 2011, Mayank worked in both private referral practice and at the Animal Health Trust, where he became Head of Internal Medicine and later Clinical Director. He is a co‑founder of Stansted Veterinary Specialists.
His main clinical interests are haematology, transfusion medicine and endocrinology, and he is actively involved in teaching and clinical advancement across all areas of small animal internal medicine.
Outside of work, Mayank enjoys spending time with his family and his Labrador, Steve. He particularly enjoys being outdoors and can often be found gardening, running, or cycling.
