Reception & Waiting Areas
We provide separate waiting areas and housing for cats and dogs to reduce stress in our patients as much as possible
Cat Ward
Our feline patients benefit from premium cat kennels in a spacious, dog free, quiet space with plenty of natual light— calming, condo-style enclosures designed to reduce stress and support recovery.

Dog Ward
Dogs are housed in well-ventilated kennels with glass bottom doors, natural daylight and low occupancy per room to help reduce anxiety.​
High-Dependency Unit
​
Our High Dependency Unit is staffed by vets and nurses 24 hours per day and is designed to provide advanced, close-monitoring care for critically ill pets. The unit is equipped with oxygen-enriched kennels, a designated resuscitation station for emergency intervention, and a specialised intensive care cot—similar to those used in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs)—to support our most vulnerable patients. This dedicated space ensures your pet receives constant attention and life-saving care when it matters most.
Computed Tomography (CT)
Our advanced CT suite houses a 64-slice Philips Incisive CT scanner, delivering fast, high-resolution imaging for accurate diagnostics. This allows for detailed assessments of complex cases with minimal stress and reduced scan times for patients.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Equipped with a 1.5T MRI housed in a purpose-built portacabin just outside the main hospital, which enables safe and efficient transfer of anaesthetised patients into the MRI scanner. It offers exceptional soft tissue imaging essential for neurological and musculoskeletal diagnostics.
X-Ray
The digital X-ray room is designed for efficiency and clarity, offering rapid, high-quality radiographs to support timely diagnosis and treatment planning across a wide range of conditions.
Ultrasound

Our dedicated ultrasound room provides a quiet, controlled environment for advanced abdominal, cardiac, and soft tissue imaging. With state-of-the-art equipment, we ensure detailed, real-time diagnostics with minimal patient discomfort.
Induction Room
Our induction room is a calm, well-equipped space where patients are prepared for surgery, medical procedures, endoscopy and imaging. Here, anaesthesia is safely administered under the close supervision of our experienced team.
Operating Theatres
We have two purpose built surgical theatres, each fully equipped to support a wide range of soft tissue, orthopaedic and neurosurgical procedures and designed to meet the highest standards of sterility and efficiency.
Hyperthyroid Cat Ward
Our custom-built radioiodine ward provides a safe, isolated environment for the treatment of hyperthyroid cats. This specialised facility meets radiation safety standards while offering a stress-minimised space for feline patients undergoing this highly effective therapy.
Break Out Room

Our beautifully designed staff room features soft green tones and natural wood flooring for a calming atmosphere. It is a restorative space where our team can relax, recharge, and maintain their wellbeing throughout the day. It is also a versatile space that doubles as our lecture theatre when we host educational events for local vets and nurses.
