Eleftheria (El) Skovola
MVetMed PgCert DVM MRCVS
Neurology and Neurosurgery Clinician
El qualified from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2015. She worked in a busy hospital in Athens, and commenced an advanced certificate (CertAVP), before moving to the UK in 2020. There, she completed rotating and neurology internships in a private hospital in Cambridgeshire and gained a Certificate in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from the University of Nottingham. In 2022, she joined the Royal Veterinary College as a European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN) resident and completed her three-year residency and master’s program (MVetMed) before joining Stansted Veterinary Specialists in July 2025.
El enjoys all aspects of neurology and neurosurgery, mostly the variety of cases, from urgent conditions to long-term management of chronic diseases. She is particularly invested in thoughtful decision-making and tailoring care to meet the needs of both patients and their families.
Outside of work, El stays active—her latest fun activity is bouncing—and values spending time with friends. She enjoys planning little trips and get-togethers, believing that maintaining close relationships is key to a well-balanced life.
