Darren graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2006 and has since gained a wealth of experience working in primary care practices, referral hospitals, and teaching institutions. Over the years, he has trained alongside some of the world’s leading veterinary surgeons and has performed thousands of procedures, from complex orthopaedic surgeries to delicate soft tissue operations – many using minimally invasive techniques.
Darren has a special interest in treating laryngeal paralysis, as well as thoracic and urogenital surgeries. He is passionate about advancing veterinary medicine, regularly contributing to published research and sharing his knowledge through lectures and conference presentations. Darren also takes pride in mentoring the next generation of veterinary professionals.
When he’s not in surgery, Darren is a keen distance runner and can often be found out on the trails with his two lively Labradors, Jenson and Lando.
