Director
Daniel is the radiologist here at Stansted Veterinary Specialists and is responsible for all the diagnostic imaging that happens across the hospital behind the scenes. He works with a wide range of equipment, including radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and fluoroscopy, to provide all departments with rapid and accurate diagnoses for their patients.
Daniel originally trained as a vet at the University of Cambridge between 2005 and 2011. After university he undertook extensive specialist training in a private hospital near Newmarket and obtained his Diploma from the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in 2018. Daniel has worked as a clinical radiologist across a wide range of specialist referral hospitals and academic institutions in the UK, as well as providing teleradiology services to patients all across the globe. He is especially interested in neuroimaging in MRI and the evaluation of congential vascular disorders with CT angiography.
Outside of work Daniel enjoys walking holidays in the Lake District, Wales or Cornwall with his husband, Matthew, and german shorthaired pointer, Herman. He loves to travel the world and is especially fond of escaping to a remote cabin in the Norwegian fjordland. He is also a keen ceramicist and spends much of his spare time at the pottery studio in his hometown of Cambridge.
