Registered Veterinary Nurse

Stansted Veterinary Specialists (SVS) is a new, independent, multi-disciplinary, small animal referral clinic that opened in August 2025. Located less than one mile from London Stansted Airport, we benefit from excellent transport links to London and Cambridge. The Role
We are looking to expand our existing team of dedicated and compassionate registered veterinary nurses. The successful applicant must be a qualified veterinary nurse and hold current registration with the RCVS and have a legal right to work in the UK. Referral experience is beneficial but not a requirement.
Salary: £37,000 per annum plus generous bonus scheme
Hours: Full time - 40.5hrs /week average including nights (1 in 12 block) and weekends (1 in 4 inclusive of nights). Typical working week consists of 4 x 10hr shifts although there is some variation in this over a full cycle of shifts.

Responsibilities Include:
· Assisting with consultations and re-examinations
· Monitoring sedations and anaesthetics
· Care of inpatients
· Surgical theatre nursing
· Assisting with procedures
· Dispensing medication and stock control
· Processing laboratory samples
· Assisting with the upkeep of clinic equipment
· Liaising with clients for patient updates and some reception duties
· Radiography
We support and encourage applicants with different backgrounds in veterinary nursing and refresher training will be provided for any team members that are not currently regularly involved in all the above activities.
