Soft Tissue Surgery

Our soft tissue surgery service is staffed by highly skilled, passionate and experienced surgeons, who are dedicated to delivering the highest standards of care to every patient that is referred to us. With advanced training and expertise across a broad spectrum of surgical conditions, we are committed to providing safe, effective, and compassionate treatment tailored to each individual patient.

Soft tissue surgery encompasses a wide range of procedures. Common conditions we manage include:

  • Complex wound reconstruction and skin flap techniques

  • Brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS)

  • Complex tumour removals (benign and malignant) including complex reconstructive procedures

  • Urogenital surgery (including bladder stones, ectopic ureters, and ureteral stenting and subcutaneous ureteral bypass)

  • Hepatic and biliary surgery (including portosystemic shunt attenuation)

  • Gastrointestinal surgery (foreign body removal, intestinal resection and anastomosis, laparoscopic gastropexy)

  • Thoracic surgery (thoracic duct ligation, lung lobectomy, management of pyothorax, patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), and vascular ring anomalies)

  • Minimally-invasive procedures (laparoscopy and thoracoscopy)

  • Perineal, hiatal, umbilical and inguinal hernia repair

We work closely with our colleagues in diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, anaesthesia, neurology, and nursing to offer a truly multidisciplinary approach to patient care. This collaboration allows us to provide comprehensive treatment plans and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Our facilities and advanced surgical tools include:

  • Minimally-invasive surgical capabilities (laparoscopy and thoracoscopy)

  • A fully equipped surgical theatre with advanced monitoring, anaesthesia support, and fluoroscopy
